Instructions
  1. Place the salmon filets in a shallow non-metallic dish. Mix together the oil, soy sauce, honey, ginger, green onions, lime zest and juice and seasoning. Pour over the filets and turn to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, or 1 hour if you have time.
  2. Preheat the grill to high. Lightly oil a baking tray. Lift the filets and green onions out of the marinade and place on the baking tray.
  3. Brush the filets with a little of the marinade, then cook for 3 minutes. Turn over, brush with more of the marinade and grill for 3-5 minutes, until cooked through.
Recipe Notes

NOTE: Ginger, lime and a little honey make a fabulous marinade for salmon. Their sweet and sour flavors go down well with children as well as adults. Serve with sugar snap peas and lime wedges.

Pairs with Red, White and Sparkling wines.  Also, pairs with Sake.  Red wines include: Red Burgundy. White wines include: Chardonnay, Riesling Dry, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Gris, Viognier and White Burgundy. Sparkling wines include: Champagne and Sparking wines.
