Garlic Beef with Noodles
Instructions
  1. Trim beef filet. Combine garlic, kecap manis, ginger, chili, sesame oil, palm sugar and lime juice in a bowl. Add beef and marinate overnight in refrigerator.
  2. To prepare vegetables discard outer leaves and wash. Combine cornstarch with 1 teaspoon cold water in a small bowl, set aside.
  3. Heat a large skillet until almost smoking and sear beef filet for 3 minutes on each side, reserving marinade. Remove beef from heat and keep warm.
  4. Cook rice noodles according to the package instructions. Stir-fry the vegetables in a hot wok with the peanut oil for approximately 3 minutes and set aside.
  5. Add reserved marinade to the wok and bring to simmer. Thicken with cornstarch mixture and reduce heat to make a sauce.
  6. Thinly slice beef and serve on top of rice noodles and vegetables, drizzled with sauce.
